Gigahertz Innovation LLC

Privacy Policy

This notice explains how Gigahertz Innovation LLC (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you use Ask Ula on the web or on WhatsApp. It is meant to meet Articles 13 and 14 GDPR.

Last updated: 16 September 2026.

1. Controller

The controller is Gigahertz Innovation LLC, USA. Contact: hello@askula.ai. You can also reach us on WhatsApp through Ask Ula.

2. What we process

Ask Ula is a travel companion. Depending on how you use it, we may process:

  • WhatsApp identifiers and the content of messages you send to Ask Ula, including trip dates, destinations, budget, walking pace, and family details you choose to share (your “Travel DNA”).
  • Technical data for https://askula.ai: IP address, date and time, and basic browser data needed to deliver the site.
  • Contact details you give us, such as a name or e-mail address, if you write to hello@askula.ai.

We do not ask for payment-card numbers, passwords, or government ID in the Ask Ula chat. Do not send those. If they arrive by mistake, we delete them and do not put them in model context, logs, or trip history.

3. Why we process it

  • To provide the companion: understand a request, keep Travel DNA, suggest options, and follow up on a trip (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — contract / steps at your request).
  • To operate and secure https://askula.ai (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in a working, abuse-resistant site).
  • To answer support or legal requests (Art. 6(1)(b), (c) or (f) GDPR).

We do not sell personal data. We do not use it for unrelated advertising profiles.

4. WhatsApp and other recipients

The chat runs on WhatsApp, a Meta service. Meta Ireland and its processors see message metadata and content according to WhatsApp’s terms and privacy policy. If you message Ask Ula, you also use WhatsApp under Meta’s rules.

We may use hosting and infrastructure providers (including Vercel) to serve this website. They process data only to provide that service. Public authorities receive data only where the law requires it.

5. Retention

Travel DNA and thread context are kept only as long as needed to provide Ask Ula and to meet legal duties, then deleted or irreversibly aggregated. Website server logs are kept for a short security window. You can ask us to erase what we hold about you.

6. Cookies

This marketing site does not set advertising cookies. Strictly necessary storage may be used to deliver the pages. If we later add analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for consent first.

7. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent for the future where processing was based on consent. Write to hello@askula.ai. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in Bavaria (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht) or in your place of residence.

8. Children

Ask Ula is for adults planning family travel. We do not knowingly collect data from children as users of the service. Details about a child that a parent or guardian types into the chat are treated as part of that adult’s Travel DNA.

9. Changes

We will update this notice when the service or the law changes. The date at the top is the current version.

10. Facebook and Instagram data deletion

If you used a Gigahertz Innovation LLC app on Facebook or Instagram, you can ask us to delete the data that app held. Email hello@askula.ai, or remove the app under Facebook Apps and Websites and send a data deletion request. Meta will POST a signed request to https://askula.ai/api/facebook/data-deletion. We return a confirmation code and a status link at https://askula.ai/deletion. Ask Ula itself is a WhatsApp companion; we do not keep Facebook login profiles for it.

A travel companion for families. Starting in Munich. ✈️
